Retro #1

Today’s lecture was hosted by an external Scrum master who assigned various tasks that should help us to boost our retro, an essential part of project planning. We’ve looked into our strengths and weaknesses, and outlined them below:

Our Weaknesses & Measurements

We’ve noticed that we haven’t really implemented anything huge in the frontend and backend projects since we’ve run short on time. However, we invested some time for prototypes and it’s time to turn these prototypes into real-world implementations.

For the SCRUM side of things, we started to specify and sort our backlog items for project frontend and backend. Here’s how it looks like for team frontend:

See you next week.

Hello guys,
your flip charts are looking really good, one could even think you have redone them before uploading here 😉
Its nice that you noticed the flaws in your work on the project. Thats the first step towards improvement.

Best regards,
The MAPHYNN Team

Hey foodies team,

your flip chart design looks very good. Like you described it is clearly visible that you havent started implementing much yet. Therefore your measurements are very generic but nevertheless fitting to your problem. Your backlog items look good assuming that there is some kind of use case specification behind titles like “Adjust styling if necessary”.

Hendrik from unitasks.

Hi Hendrik, thank you for your comment. We adjusted the task you highlight in your comment and we updated the post. Let us know if you have further suggestions.

Hi foodies-Team,

I like how you visualized your strengths on the Flip-Chart and I think it’s a good first step that you started to specify the tasks you have to do in order to get really started with your practical tasks.
You did a good work in the retro an I wish you a good start.

Cheers,
Marius@Evendo
